Do not let your practical pains judge God. shuv / שׁוּב-to turn 4. Turn to God. 5. God will fulfill his promises; God will provide for his plan – even when the human actors get things terribly wrong! In terms of salvation history, Ruth’s conversion sends a similar message to Sarah’s conception of Isaac: 2 Cor. 1:20: “For all the promises of God find their Yes in [Jesus Christ ]. . .”
