Acts 4:36, Matthew 6:1-4 Matthew 6:1-4, 6:19-21, 6:24-34 Matt 8:26, 14:31, 16:8, Malachi 3:8 God will not honor an empty offering, but He will highly exalt a cheerful giver Giving is not a burden but is a blessing, however the blessing will flow out of a burden for something 1) Jesus deals with the natural human response to worry 2) Jesus deals with God's loving desire to take care of His children 3) Jesus deals with the affection of your heart

Have you ever wondered why an offering is taken up every week in the worship service? Have you ever thought to yourself "I'd like to give but I don't know how I can?" Has anyone ever told you "The church only wants your money?" It's amazing how many thought and misconceptions can come into our hearts and minds when it comes to giving to the local church.
