Romans 9:30-10:4 1. You cannot attain righteousness while you are still trying for it. The Gospel makes us say that different people have righteousness than we would have thought. 2. The Gospel scandalizes moral-thinking, "righteous" people. "Law" and "righteousness" are interchangeable if you pursue righteousness by law (v. 31) 3. If you set up your life journey by law, you will stumble over the very thing that would save you. Don't trip over what you are looking for!
