“Not Swerving from the Hope of Christ”
Colossians 1:21-23 1. You are related to no one like you are related to God. Psa. 51:3-4 “Christ is the head of the home, the unseen guest of every meal, the silent listener to every conversation.” -Anonymous And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Heb. 4:13 1b. You are hostile to no one like you are hostile to God. 2. The deeds show the mind, the mind makes the deeds. “in mind, in the evil deeds” 3. Christ came in his body in order to save you in yours. Rom. 5:6-9 If … Despise what bad fruit your life still produces, but do not despair because of it. 4. This gospel must be served to others, primarily through proclamation.
