Adorn things and adore God with thanks. Familiarity is obviously not immoral, but, if we are not careful, familiarity will kill thankfulness. A Biblical Theology of Glory “There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal.” -C.S. Lewis in “The Weight of Glory” 4. Christ is the way to the Father—even in daily life. -The name of God is good news in the Old Testament (Ps. 23:3; 25:11). -The name of Jesus specifies Good news in the New (Acts 4:12). -As we live in the church age for the glory of Christ, we expand the reach of the good news and the extent of his rule.
