Temporary Service Times

Sunday Morning Worship

Hello, Bat Cave Baptist Church, and friends!
We will have two services this Sunday, in very unique circumstances.
We will have a service at 9 AM for those who are in the immediate vicinity of the historic church building and are able to walk or ride a side-by-side.
We will have a service at 11 AM at the Benoit family’s wedding barn: 120 Hudgins Rd., Hendersonville, NC 28792.
Again, as you are able and interested, we encourage you to bring your family a brown bag lunch, and we will visit together after the service.
Feel free to reach out to Pastor Nathan with any questions.
Love you all, look forward to seeing you, and can’t wait to worship!
Pastor Nathan

Reason for Temporary Service Times

As you may know, Hurricane Helene has damaged the roads leading to BCBC dramatically. The roads are still closed to all traffic that are not local individuals who live in the direct area, emergency responders, or disaster relief workers who are approved. With that said, we will be meeting at the Benoit family’s wedding barn: 120 Hudgins Rd, Hendersonville, NC, 28792, until further notice. It is a beautiful, insulated, heated and cooled building with restrooms that will accommodate us well until we are able to once again gather at the church building.

Wednesday Evening Services

On Wednesday Evenings, at 7:00 pm, at the Benoit family’s wedding barn: 120 Hudgins Rd., Hendersonville, NC 28792, we gather together to walk through Scripture – verse by verse – we sing, and we focus on prayer for and with one another.

The Meaning of the Mundane

Proverbs 3:13-35 1. Believe in Wisdom’s blessing. Reinforce the evidence that you are in an objectively blessed state. In other words, believe. Objective: Subjective Verses 13 through 18 intend, from every possible angle, to convince us that wisdom will reward us. Think about it: the whole point of reminding ourselves that we are objectively blessed is because we commonly (and normally!) will subjectively feel as if this is not the case. -Phil. 4:12 (the mystery of life) 2. In life’s confusion, start at the beginning, with the Creator. Verses 21 –26: Wisdom will make you a man or woman of confidence and competence. Verses 27-31: Wisdom will make you a person of compassion. vv. 25-27: “Instead of letting a power trip grab your attention, let the practical needs of others do it!” 3. In life’s confusion, consider the end of all things in Christ. - “Blessed is the Adam . . .” - The Tree of Life 4. Do not fear the ability of the devious schemer to plan a plot or spin a tale. Respect only the Lord’s ultimate justice. Patient, purposeful predictions about the Lord’s judgment warn the foolish, strengthen the weary, and show that Christ is the only way.

New To Bat Cave?

What is Bat Cave Baptist All About?

We are all about the Gospel transforming the lives of people of all sizes, ages, races, and backgrounds for the glory of Christ alone.  We want everyone to feel welcome, but we don’t want you to leave the same way you came in.  We want you to sound and act more like Jesus when you leave than when you walked in.  We also know that this will not happen until the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit changes a heart of stone into a heart of flesh.  With that said, what is the Gospel.  Well, the guys over at apologiaradio.com put together a seven minute video explaining just that.  Watch, Listen, and Contact us with any questions you may have.
