Romans 14:5-12
Why you (probably) need to care more about yourself in conscience matters.
1. Do not shirk your responsibilities, especially those in your mind.
May your mind never shirk its responsibilities.
Be as filled up as you can be in relevant beliefs.
2. Always aim for the honor of God.
You often ask the wrong questions.
“Is this wrong?” Vs. “What honors God?”
The purpose of all things is to increase the praise and glory of God.
Why you (probably) need to care less about others in conscience matters.
3. All of your life “answers back” to God.
-God made you; God maintains you; you answer to God.
4. Christ died to become your master.
Ironically, those who consider their final judgment the most, exercise proper judgment in this life the best.
Match the Master; like a young plant, grow in the direction of the sun.
Join us as we prayerfully study Paul’s Epistle to the Romans, a letter that has strengthened the church and enriched believers throughout church history.
