"Samuel, No Doubt, A Man of God"
I Sam. 7:15-8:22
Intro- Our passage gives ample evidence that Samuel,
judge over Israel, was indeed a man of God
- Our text also records a "downward" step for Israel,
and all of mankind as well, for man was created
to live under the reign of his Creator alone
- Today, we'll look at 5 insights from Samuel's life
to the end that we have a clearer understanding
of 3 particular things concerning the man of God
I- The Man of God's Focus (7:15-8:2)
II- The Man of God's Fears (8:3-6c)
III- The Man of God's Foundation (6d)
IV- The Man of God's Faithfulness (7-18)
V- The Man of God's Frustration (19-22)
Conc- Now, where do you suppose Samuel went?
- What do you suppose when he got there?
- Samuel, no doubt, a man of God...
