“Please, Boast in Christ”
Colossians 2:1-5 1. Toil for other Christians ties us together tightly. “Imitate me as I imitate Christ” (1 Cor. 11:1). How do you tell stories of your successes? 2. Send your stories of successes upwards to Christ. Prov. 27:2 3. Imitation motivates. Imitation often kindles love and creates internal motivation. 3a. Growth can produce assurance. Assurance for every Christian is more likely to be experienced as it becomes an assurance of understanding. 3b. All knowledge should relate to the unfolding mystery of Christ. 4. Every plausible Christian argument firms up your footing on the foundation of Christ. pithanologia, πιθανολογίᾳ.
