The Gift of the Right Target and the Right Aim

Romans 10:1-4 1. What flows from our hearts and limps "unto salvation"? As all ingredients flow together, does it tend toward God's salvation for others? -Content -public tone, both clear and kind -private friendship, both open and confrontational Theological Overlook: Not all Israel is Israel. (Rom. 9:6; Gal 6:16) 2. Sincerity is not enough. Zeal = genuineness 3. We are unaware because we are "otherwise occupied." Unaware but on the hunt or unaware but "sure it must be this." illus: escape room, puzzle pieces, the game of clue ("it must be this one") 4a. Because Christ is the telos, everyone "knows" in some sense. telos: the end-purpose or goal 4b. Because Christ is the "telos of the law" everyone can repent and receive Christ's righteousness.
