Romans 10:5-13
1. The law principle must become absurd before we let it go.
The righteousness based on law boils down to an impossibility.
If we shall be saved, another righteousness must be promised.
Paul reads the OT and finds there a thread that says we cannot do anything (go up or down and get the Messiah); instead he sees that the word will dwell within us.
3. Do not plan out how you will earn righteousness; do not pick out who will do it for you.
The word of the law is given to you such that you should obviously be able to keep it. The Word-made-flesh is given to you because you cannot keep the word of the law in the best circumstances.
3. God's plan is to get the word inside you.
