“Faith from the Fringes: How to Spot True Sight”
Matthew 15:21-28 1. Heavenly citizens are found among the ordinary, even the reviled. 2. Cast your hope on Christ, even if it casts doubt on you. How do you respond to Life’s hardships? What do life‘s hardships teach you? 3. Hardships harder than a human can handle lead you to God. Many practical pains in your life and mine serve an eternal purpose. 4. Visible, practical needs, train us to recognize and respond to invisible spiritual provision. Rom. 8:18-23 The hardships of life that are too high and hard for any human lead us to other needs, spiritual and invisible. 5. True Faith persists. The ministry of the Jewish Messiah overflows to those who have no special claim on him. A. Jesus confirms existing faith with his sign miracles. B. Jesus has complete power. The gift of eternal life and the forgiveness of sins, Jesus offers you “this very hour.”
