In the midst of the day-to-day, don’t forget to seek what is most permanent.
1. Build your life on what lasts in every season—and eternity!
-The only rest worth having is rest that we can’t build for ourselves.

2. Live out your passions and priorities in the direction of justice.
“Abstain the passions of the flesh which wage war against your soul.”
(1 Pt. 2:11-12)
Our passions are to be guided, not trusted.
-He has a right evaluation of her:
אֵ֥שֶׁת חַ֖יִל / eshet chail : strong woman, woman of integrity (Proverbs
31’s phrase: “an excellent wife”)
-He has a decision and a plan:
Is it not interesting that Boaz, by all appearances, has thought of this before!
גֹאֵ֖ל / Goel : redeemer
Daily righteousness paves the way for divine appointments.
3. The Redeemer considers everything at stake and donates a down- payment to the Beloved (2 Car 1:22, 5:5; Eph. 1:14)
4. To be redeemed is to have a new identity and a new destiny.
