Beautiful Feet Don’t Stay Put: How Discipleship and Evangelism "Go"

Romans 10:14-21 Observation -Belief makes you call out. -Hearing-with-faith makes you believe -Announcing makes you hear. -Sending makes you announce. Application: 1. God uses people in the salvation of his people. -God’s means are normally “natural,” rather than supernatural! 2. God “mysteriously” weaves together the full story of the gospel and the world. -His actions are often uncommon and surprising. 3. Unbelief even fulfills God’s various purposes. -Israel’s unbelief has not surprised God. 4. God’s people must emphasize sending and establishing ministries of the word of Christ. The lost have an obligation to the mercy of the Savior. If humans announce and believe, then salvation is by the action of God alone - grace (Isaiah 52:7).
