Titus 2:11-14: The “for” means everything. What does it take to change? The gospel unifies the question and answer concerning why and how we become a new person. What does God’s grace do? God’s grace has -appeared -bringing -training C. Insisting on gospel truth grounds works and avoids quarrels. Where the truth of God is not declared, shared, memorized, repeated, and applied, the resources for personal change and renewal drive up. D. The process itself keeps you in relationship to God. How do you become a “new you”? 1. Insist on gospel-truth. “...where guilt is most terrible and fierce, there the mercy of God in Christ, when showed to the soul, appears most high and mighty...” - John Bunyan, Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners 2.
