Rom. 8:11 3. Christ’s baptizing you in the Holy Spirit is the gospel. Eph. 4:4-6 4. Our baptism in water proclaims, displays, and participates in Christ’s baptizing us in the Holy Spirit. Application A. Are you baptized in the Holy Spirit? B. Have you been baptized in water in a manner that imitates the supernatural death and resurrection that Christ brought upon you as you enter the new covenant? C. Love the church for all the right reasons.
