From Menial to Meaningful: How the Gospel Changes Your Everyday
Colossians 4:7-11 1. Christians ought to seek updates from the universal church. You become like the news you seek, like the events you experience. It is not by accident that you start to prioritize or think that the “big news of the world” is whatever you focus on continually. 2. News creates mission; mission seeks out the news. “Your attention follows your dollars.” A primary benefit we seek for our heart should be to hear of the growth of the gospel and good work of other Christians. 3. In the gospel, our ultimate status is equal. The gospel raises our earthly low status; the gospel lowers our earthly high status. 4. So desired by the world, true inclusion and true unity are gospel- products. What about your name? Will it be in the Book of Life . . . and in the travelogue of how the gospel spread?
