Colossians 1:1-8 1.The Gospel determines your ultimate identity/ Ekklesia: congregation assembly of people Brothers: people we are accountable to Holy: set apart/ morally matching God Believing/having faith: Faithful because they have believed 2. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each works and deserves praise for our salvation. 3. Gospel – hope produces faith toward God and faithfulness toward others. (2 Cor. 8:1-5) The gospel is global; be confident in it! “the gospel in the air” & “the gospel on the ground” 4. Global credibility gives local and personal comfort. Your local and personal life and health comes from a global gospel. 5. The gospel makes and needs servants.
