The Parable of the Vineyard Workers
Matthew 20:1-16 Salvation is a free gift of divine mercy devoid of human merit. Matthew 19:13-14, 18:1-4, 19:16-30 Romans 4:4-5, 11:6 1) Salvation is not Earned 2) God is the Initiator of salvation 3) God is Sovereign over the outworking of salvation 4) God calls Sinners not the Self-Sufficient Matthew 21:28-32 5) God gives the same Abundant Grace to everyone who follows Him 6) God Always gives us more than we deserve 7) God is gracious and we should always Celebrate His grace 1) Jesus rebukes all human judgment 2) Jesus warns against complacency 3) Jesus teaches in the kingdom of Heaven all are equal Matthew 20:17-19
